Everlasting Moments Photography began as one photographer’s desire to make a career out of something she loved, and today, has become a full service, award-winning studio that services clients on both a national and international level. While successfully doubling in growth each year, Everlasting Moments Photography maintains the ability to have a personal relationship with each of their clients. Making each client feel like they are family is our number one priority. Our clients are not just numbers or wedding dates, but real people whose events we take pride in capturing in a way that no other studio attempts to. Each member of the Everlasting Moments Team is not only dedicated to making their clients’ experience phenomenal, but also to furthering their own knowledge and growth on both a personal and professional level. Everlasting Moments’ professional accreditations include its membership in South Summit Chamber of Commerce, The Professional Photographers of America, The Professional Photographers of Ohio, Akron Society of Professional Photographers, and The Barberton Rotary Club. In addition to each photographer’s personal awards and achievements, Everlasting Moments has had their photography featured in the “Real Weddings” section of the North East Ohio Brides Magazine and Today’s Bride Magazine.

When asked why Everlasting Moments Photography is different from any other photography studio, the staff finds their answer to be an easy one. It is their energy and enthusiasm for what they do that allows them to capture their clients once in a lifetime moments with a creative flair like no other. At Everlasting Moments, we take time to get to know who are clients are, and what their likes and dislikes are. This adds a personal touch to each and every photograph that we take. “The eyes are the windows to the soul.” And when you are able to relate to your clients on a personal level, their personality pours through those windows, and from the eyes of the subject and into the eyes of the beholder. Our portraits tell a story, and when you view them, just as a good book does, it makes you feel as if you were really there.

So, who is Everlasting Moments Photography?

Marci began her photographic career in 1996 when she went to work for a retail portrait studio catering to families, children, and pets. Desiring a more challenging style of photography that would fulfill her passion for capturing life’s most precious moments, in 1999, she began working under a PPA certified, Master photographer as an assistant photographer for weddings. Thus, she had found her passion. In 2000, Marci opened Everlasting Moments Photography. Since then, striving to provide only the best for her clients, Marci has worked diligently to pursue the personal and professional goals she has set for herself. Marci is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Professional Photographers of Ohio (PPO), North East Ohio Bridal Association (NEOBA), Akron Society of Professional Photographers (ASPP), and Senior Photographers International (SPI).

In 2003, her first competition awarded her an Honorable Mention for her unique wedding candid, “Oh Say Can You See.” Since then, Marci has achieved several photographic awards including her latest two Merit Prints for her fine art portrait “My Glorious Day,” and her

photojournalistic image, “Oh My Gosh.” “My Glorious Day” has also awarded her “Best Bridal Portrait” for the 2006 Mid-East Regional Convention, along with her first Fuji Masterpiece Award. In addition, “Oh My Gosh” has been accepted into the General Collection Book from PPA’s National Print Competition. Marci is Past President of the Akron Society of Professional Photographers (ASPP), fills the position for Akron’s Representative to the Board of Trustees of the Professional Photographers of Ohio, and is a member of the Rotary Club of Barberton.

While enjoying the success that her hard work and passion for her career has awarded her, Marci is convinced that to be one of the best, you must never stop learning. In May 2005, she had the opportunity to study under world-renowned photographer, Monte Zucker, and continues to study under another photographer to pursue her goal to be one of the best.

Her inner urbanite emerged when she earned a full college scholarship to study fine art in New York City. In March 2006, Sara returned to Ohio to continue her studies locally, and work in a place where her creativity and love of people could flourish. Her search ultimately led her to Everlasting Moments in August of 2006. On a daily basis, Sara offers artistic input to albums, finished prints, and marketing materials. In addition, Sara keeps the office in order, and provides clients with the quality customer service that Everlasting Moments is known for. Sara’s ‘big-city style’ and ‘artistic know-how’ bring a unique perspective to Everlasting Moments, and she has quickly become a valuable asset to the studio.

Melissa Moore
A graduate of Kent State University, Melissa was first introduced to Everlasting Moments Photography as a client. After working extensively with Everlasting Moments as a client, Melissa believed so strongly in the quality of work and customer service that we provided that she became a part-time addition to our staff. Melissa works as a part-time photojournalistic style photographer for Everlasting Moments, as well as functioning as office and sales staff, especially during heavy seasons and bridal show times. Melissa is often considered to be Marci’s right hand person at weddings functioning as both her assistant and a second photographer. Also, Melissa is the creative genius when it comes to props and sets for our High School Senior clients. Whether it’s photojournalism and professional attire, or prop construction and hammer and nails, Melissa is without a doubt an irreplaceable part of our team.
